IN CHINA
Our Approach
Set-up
We begin with initial discussions to explore the opportunity, answer your questions and agree on your suitability to become one of our school partners. School Heads or their nominated representative are then invited to visit China for an official trip to sign contracts, with all expenses paid including airfares, accommodation and meals.
In the UK
Our UK partner schools, at agreed times during summer and winter terms, welcome groups of Chinese students aged 14 – 17 to join the normal timetable with their UK ‘buddies’ and stay with a local host family for one week. Group sizes are a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 per school.
For the week a school hosts these students, they receive between £3000 – £5000 depending on the size of the group.
Host families are paid £300 per week and can host up to two students, in single bedrooms with full board (packed lunches) and an expectation to interact with the students in the evenings and periods of free time.
In China
For any teachers and students travelling to China, all expenses are paid from arrival to departure in the country including local transportation, accommodation, food and entry fees for places of interest.
